This year the Lucky Squirrel will be held rain or shine on the third Saturday, May – September.
May 18, June 15, July 20, August 17, and September 21.
Always Free Admission & Free Parking plus food vendors on-site.
In addition to some great garage sale treasures, you will find custom made jewelry, outdoor yard art, pallet board creations, homemade bath & candle products, pet goods, art, recycled vintage wares, used books, toys, tools and lots of great stuff! Baked goods available for purchase too!
This is an outdoor event located at the Northeast corner of Ford Rd & Middlebelt Rd in the Garden City Town Center parking lot, just north of Detroit Metro Airport and just minutes from I-75, I-275, I-96 & I-94.

Vendor Fee Only $15.00 for a 10X10 parking spot. (Multiple spaces are available to rent.) Vendors may sign up for one or more dates. Cash or Check payable to GC DDA. No credit card payments accepted.

The Chili Cook Off, Hot Rod & Motorcycle Show – October 12, 2019
The Chili Cook Off will be celebrating its 12th year on Saturday, October 12th. Over 20 teams to sample from, wagon ride to the Police & Fire Dept Open House, petting zoo, live music, beer tent, vendors and lots of hot cars & motorcycles too!

The Santaland Parade – November 30th
This year marks the 59th running of the annual Santaland Parade. A great Family Tradition.
Santa Claus riding into town will be the highlight of the event.
The Holiday Christmas Tree Lighting – December 2nd
Sing carols; enjoy hot chocolate and count down to the lighting of our community Christmas tree in the Commons Corner.
